Fate Of Heroes is a work in progress, a mix of FATE Accelerated and AW hacks. The game is built to be quite light, to learn and play - along the lines of other FATE Accelerated hacks. Players will generate characters using approaches and aspects as in FATE, but working on an AW-like set of playbooks, that are built to give life to classic fantasy characters like the Hero, the Wise, the Guardian, the Rogue, the Ranger.
Fate Of Heroes contains not only rules and playbooks, but a ready-to-play setting, stripped to the bare minimum to allow the GM to learn it fast, and to let the entire group introduce their own preferences and customizations. The basic setting contains: the Eternal City, the Seven Kingdoms, the Wild, the Church of the Circle and the Church of the Cross, the Inquisition, etc.
